Wondering if BarSculpt Teacher Training is right for you? Here are our answers to some frequently asked questions that should help you make your decision.
What makes BarSculpt® unique?
BarSculpt is the oldest established barre class in Maine created by Maine native, Leslie Guerin Canto. A trademarked and highly sought after class, BarSculpt has been in Portland, Maine (and throughout the country) since the studio opened in 2006. Through the class's unique design and the efforts of its highly skilled and qualified instructors, BarSculpt has your safety and wellness in mind when helping you create a balanced body and mind.
BarSculpt is Pilates evolved and is not your average barre class. The unique combination of high-energy strengthening and stretching results in a long, lean flexible body. It takes its inspiration from the Lotte Berk Method (the root of all barre classes), where, in combination with intensive Pilates training, BarSculpt's owner and creator Leslie Guerin began her professional fitness career.
Classes allow everyBODY to find more ease in movement, coordination and flexibility, while getting a wonderfully crafted workout. BarSculpt is a discipline not unlike Yoga or Pilates and effectively targets specific problem areas like the seat, abdominals, arms, and thighs. Whether you are an avid exerciser or just looking for a way to get in shape, BarSculpt will work for you.
